Dear Madam or Sir,
I am writing to apply for a teacher in your school, which I am looking forward to for a long time. I am sure the direction I have chosen by myself much fits my personalities and makes me contribute to the society with the knowledge and skills I've gained so far.
I am an English major student in Beijing Foreign Studies University and I will finish my M.A. degree study this July.
Firstly, I have an all-consuming love for literature and have been a voracious reader since the moment I was capable of reading independently. During my school, I have obtained principals of my major and have a good practice both in knowledge and skills. The excellent mark in TEM-8 indicates my achievements in English. Besides, my ability in writing and speaking is also considerable.
Secondly, I've paid attention to gaining hands-on experience. I have taught as a tutor for two years, and had an experience as an assistant in the office of English Department. The experience offers me a better understanding of teaching and strengthens my abilities in English. Serving as an interpreter for some foreigners also helped me to find out the so-called culture shocks as well as the difference of customs among China and other countries.
